If I see a youth player with a low overall and a high potential I always sign them and then change their position. Normally they've been scouted in the wrong position and changing it can give them a 10 point boost. Sometimes it's more than 10.

I didn't know this. That's great. Although isn't potential dynamic.. so if playing at their potential means my 85 max potential player shows as 85... But if he plays well wouldn't this go up too?

@@craigdavis5818 No, because they are playing at his maximum potential already and that maximum is not moving in the future theoretically. The difference is that when you grab them on the main team they stop using the maximum potential and perform in his actual potential, so you need to give them minutes to rise that numbers. I preferred lot more the system of value to check the potentials.

Massive tip I've found~ Playing actual games with youngsters and increasing the "dynamic potential" AND THEN loaning them out the season after... Huge overall boost's. Sometimes makes them fulfil their WHOLE potential in one season... It's broken so use at your will.

From what I seen it doesnt matter if you have shit games as long as you score 2 every other game, if that makes sense. Like dynamic potential is broken but it also seriously depends on players having LOTS of good games.

I've scouted many countries in FC 25 in my career mode with Blackburn. Changing the full squad to youth academy players. Iceland , Jamaica, Israel, China, Senegal, Togo, Brasil and South Africa + other countries in Africa. These countries has given me great players from age 13-16. All of them with crazy long hair, afro or dreads. If you think thats cool, check those out. Great video! 😃

@@nickk1524 1 month each country. That means I spread the dates for every scout on different dates. For example: Israel 08.01.2025 Senegal 10.01.2025 Greece 12.01.2025. I save my game the day before scout report comes in and just reload if Im not happy with the report. That doesnt mean I go for the highest rated, I always go for players with specific appearance. And I put a lot of work in to get the best out of the "coolest" players. I like to play it like that🫣 Right now I have 7 starting youth players and 3 on the bench. Full squad within end of season 2 I hope 🙌🏼

I highly recommend Israel 🇮🇱 and Georgia 🇬🇪 for wingers, Kazakhstan 🇰🇿 for defenders and CDMs, San Marino 🇸🇲 for wide players and wingers, and Russia 🇷🇺 for forwards.

I’ve noticed that the best players I’ve ever found in the youth academy have always been from position changes, so so recommend checking stats before binning someone off purely on market value

Cutzy, I did some simulation testing on console just now and can confirm that although loans are a great way to boost overall, if you keep a youth player at your club and do NOT loan or transfer them out, they can get a play style + when they hit 80 overall (not sure if a 2nd PS+ is available at 90 but it might be-hope to find that out).

Not 80% but at least 50%. Thats feminism at its best not a glitch. Just like last year over 50% games were refereed by a femal ref but in the mean time there only one female ref in PL and shes a sideline ref. Just try to ignore it cuz they not planing on fixing it

In my experience, the youth development rate is perfectly fine at normal. However, it's your save to do what you see fit. ❤️

I have just found a youth player tonight with a potential of 83-94 I don’t want him to drop an inch of that, hence why I’m here 😂 he may be OP of bugged though because he’s basically the next Messi, he’s Argentinian, 13 years old, can play all offensive positions and has all the playstyle bases loaded. The concern is, his stats are 💩 so I’m trying to figure out how to approach the growth. I have no idea but I want to get him to the very best. Help!!

Tbf cus he’s 13 he won’t even be able to play for 3 seasons so I wouldn’t worry about his stats. Just keep rotating between development plans to keep his stats growing evenly.

As stated in the video, you are looking for potentials to stay at 80 or above. So what Docks does is spot on.

And no, that not to say the player will become a 90 overall, it just increases the chances of them at least reaching 80." said at 2:58. Docks' is a different technique with the same premise. We're both looking for 80+ potentials. The only difference is that explaining new players to look for the value of ONE number is so much easier to explain in comparison to Dock's method.

I’ve seen canisports and he was using the development plans and giving a player a new role and when he pressed triangle, when the role is ready to be applied to the player, he had to switch a role that the player has out of the 3 roles he currently have , I did not know that, does that mean I can have a player who plays LW with for example a wide winger and get another position like a ST with false 9? Without a message saying this guys out of position? Or does the player have to be the same position but u can develop the player with different roles up to 3?
