never mind there was no defense, leg 1 didn't have many crucial, controversial mistakes. The world is not blind, everyone knows the second leg IS THE MOST SHAMEFUL AND DISGUSTING MATCH, WHICH WILL ALWAYS BE REMEMBERED IN FOOTBALL HISTORY AND A DISGRACE THAT WILL BE REMEMBERED EVERY SEASON. the 1st leg of the world did not overreact like the 2nd leg because in the 2nd leg there were 4 penalties and not one was given, in the 1st leg the referee did not apologize for anything meaning he felt right and carried out his duties well but in the 2nd leg the referee who led the match apologized afterwards because he admitted making many fatal mistakes. It's not strange because there was a 2001-2018 Barca scandal in the Spanish prosecutor's office

Out of everything you wrote only 2 of those were a potential goal scoring calls. Chelsea had 6 abd all 6 calls should've been a penalty. Neither did the players who made those 6 penalties got booked or a yellow card. One of those should've been a red card

5:00 and 8:05 were not game changing decisions, 9:15 wasn't enough for Henry to fall like that and 10:21 no proof Ballack knew Iniesta was there and was unintentional. now watch 2nd leg.

La amarilla perdonada por falta a Iniesta, tampoco cambiaba nada, es igual a la que le perdonan a Alves en el 6:06 . Si hubo claro penal a Henry. No es ni por asomo roja a Ballack por esa acción, no hay golpe. En resúmen, partido donde debió ganar el Barcelona 1 a 0, sin más. No justifica nada la vuelta y el atraco enorme que le hicieron al Chelsea en Stamford Bridge.

In the 2nd leg Anelka dive no card For him he gets a free kick and Abbidal gets a red card??? Drogba dives no cards. Mallouda dive no card, and gets a free kick? Ballack handball. And much more. The truth is the referee was horrible 4 both teams in both 1st and 2nd leg. Only unbiased fans now the truth

For those who said Barca robbed the game you didn’t watch the first leg any more many aggressive tackles and only one yellow card Ineista get punched on his face by ballack and he didn’t get a red card and he already had yellow card .unfair offside for Samuel Eto and didn’t gave penalty for Henry .in the second leg the referee gave a red card for Abidal and he didn’t even touch Anelka a hand ball by ballack in the penalty area and no penalty . I’m not saying that the referee was good but he was bad for both sides

I’m sorry, but to the people saying “funny how Chelsea fans ignore this leg”, please, shut up. Just to let you know I’m a arsenal fan, so usually I like Chelsea suffering. So I’ll be the judge of this. Shall we? 0:53 foul was given. If you’re asking if it’s a red, I don’t see it. Maybe a yellow if you squint, but ultimately I think it’s a talking to. Good call 1:30 this is the first questionable moment. No whistle can be heard as far as I’m aware of. This is a yellow. He wasn’t trying to harm the goalie, but you still can’t say it’s incidental. He’s clearly trying to force the GK to drop the ball. But I also don’t think it’s a straight red. If he’s were to straight up run full speed into the GK then that would have been different. 1:40 no foul. The advantage was given. And this is certainly not a yellow. You see this all the time 2:05 foul. If you can even call it that. While it looks suspicious, if you slow it down in the replay the defender seems to get the ball. Then again, he may have pushed him. Hard to tell. I probably would have called it, then ask my linemen if he thinks it’s worth of a booking. 3:20. Foul, and a yellow card. Ref got this one right. It wasn’t a clear goal scoring opportunity, but it was one where fouling would stop their flow. Good call. 5:00. No offside. But I can see where the ref sees this. you see a frame or two where he genuinely looks offside. It’s not the right decision though. So let’s say he’s allowed to play on. Petr chech is charging at him, and it’s a difficult angle. I can’t say for certain that he scores this. So no updated score 8:05. Yellow,same as the other one. Not exactly going for the ball, but not a clear goal scoring opportunity. Chelsea is still at 11 men. 9:10. Penalty. 1-0 nothing Barca. He pulls him by the shirt. If you’re asking for a card, if this happens anywhere else it’s not even a talking too, so no, it’s not even a yellow. 10:30. No foul. By slowing down the footage, if there was contact, I don’t see it very well. Even then I don’t see it as a card. He’s trying to put his arm out like that to shepherd iniesta away from the pass, like a defender would. And there is no way he makes that free kick. Okay, so it’s 1-0 Barca going into the second leg. If we count the 3 pens, it would have been….. 3-2 Chelsea. Any way you slice it, Chelsea got screwed over by bad officiating. No, I don’t think corruption was involved. But my point is that you can’t just ignore the 2nd leg. Understand that, I love Barca. If arsenal isn’t in the champions league, I’m always rooting for Catalonia. So don’t say I’m biased.

But why are you ignore Abidal's unfair red card that happened before that? and 5:00 is clearly onside cris. etoo's left shoulder was ahead of Alex's left foot. if judgment was correct, iniesta could dash in the box and get a huge chance by etoo's pass.

And right before that Drogba kicked Pique to stomach and should got second yellow.... + Ballack should have 2 yellows from the first leg. After watching both legs I would say there was a dogshit referee work. But Barca allegations for buying off refs tents me to think Barca bought the second leg, still, that Alaba red car wasn't really it. Some faults aclamed for Chelsea seem like dives to me. If we talk proportionately, I would say Barca got more benefits from this.

Barca got more benefits by having their key player sent off while half of Chelsea's squad escaped getting a red card? The second leg would have been a lot different if Barca went into it with 1-2 goal advantage. This match also shows you a lot about Drogba. He was screaming loudly in the second leg but I bet he didn't mind these blind favours for Chelsea. The allegations against Barca were for la liga only and they were just allegations. Using past tense because they found no proof of Barca fixing matches and have cleared them of all charges.

Na minha opinião,o barca nao foi roubado no primeiro jogo,acho que o impedimento do camisa 9 ( barca ) é normal...é algo que acontece ate hj 😅 O lance do henry é simples! ELE ESTAVA DESIQUILIBRADO e so jogou.. No jogo de volta,ouve dois lances que CLARAMENTE NAO FORAM PÊNALTIS! Um,o jogador do chelsea se jogou e no outro o Drogba foi desarmado ( ele ate cai em CIMA do zagueiro do barca ) ,os possíveis " toques de mao ",..acho que o lance do pique foi normal ( bola na mao,nao mao na bola ampliando espaco ) e o outro foi " d'baixo do braço " tanto ate que pega na axila do jogador... Resumindo,nenhum dos lances foi penalti e o resultado de 1 á 1 foi " justo " entre muitas aspas.. As duas equipes foram prejudicadas pela ARBITRAGEM! NAO PELOS JOGADORES OU CLUBES😊😊

Dear Barça fans please stop judging this game based on 2020s football. Football was rough and there was no VAR back then. Most of these "fouls" you say, there are many instances like those in other games in which they were not a foul or was too small a contact for the referee to notice. Also, the fact that you even bring up the first leg in response to the atrocity that is the second leg, means even you yourself agree that there was everything wrong with the second leg. You just want to get aggressive and make others believe it was in retaliation to a few refereeing mistakes in the first leg, which is a joke in itself really.

Pique handball shouldn’t count his arm was already up Anelka hits the ball with the outside of his foot too hit piques arm . 2020 rules that’s a pen , back then no . Drogbas 1on1s he dived nobody stepped on his foot nobody pulled on his shirt enough for him to be dragged down like that. Abidal red card because anelka dived he didn’t even get touched , only real bad call was Etos handball not being given last min . It was called in 2022 WC final Montiel

The only thing that could be controversial is the Henry penalty call .. but if you watch carefully he is already slipping in the turn and then he knows he can’t get the ball anyway .. other than that, there are fouls yes .. but nothing as blatant and obvious as the second leg .. not even close .. am not a Chelsea supporter here but I don’t see how anyone can compare this against the second leg massacre !

There was one clear penalty and a couple false offside calls If barca won 3-1 in the first leg EVERYTHING would’ve changed in the second leg the tactics, if chelsea had gotten a red card one less player would have been there, you just can’t compare the robberies Second leg was definitley robbed and chelsea deserved way better but can’t be compared with the first one even if less fault calls were made

9:15 is only possible foul I see which refree didn't mention. Every other foul has either yellow card or freekick. Barka fans are barking alot. Watch 2nd leg. Refree is running away from Chelsea players 100 times. And that's why Chelsea was robbed UCL that year.

What's the first fuss about this leg? Every foul on barca player was awarded .. only claim they can make is when Henry went down in penalty box apart from that every foul commited was penalized... Whereas second leg was daylight robery.. there were clear penalties for handball atleast that were not awarded

⁠@@riseedit108red cards? The only one I saw that that could have been a red was the inniesta slide tackle. Even then it looks more like a yellow. In the second leg it was 3 pens that weren’t given. If not 5. Talk all you want, but the ref in let one did his job well. The one in the 2nd leg was absolutely terrible. This is coming from a arsenal fan.
