Arthur and De Jong are good but lets face it, they're not at the level of Xavi and Iniesta. Look at Man City with the likes of Silva and De Bruyne under Pep. Their football is sexy but not at this level of Barca with Xavi and Iniesta. Also, Man City are not successfull in the Champions League. The chemistry between players are important in tiki taka BUT the legendary quality of the Xavi-Iniesta-Busquets midfield is most crucial. I dont think Arthur and De Jong can handle this type of football and bring us a Champions League. We better let them play their own football.

He brought his own style to how he wanted to play it and to some extent that style was also determined by the kind of players he had at the time. So is all about getting a coach with better/fresher idea's as in application of the same philosophy with this current squad. A style of application of Barcelona's philosophy that is adaptable to modern trend of the game not necessarily evolution from that philosophy to a completely different philosophy.

I know this was made a while ago, but it's one of the best youtube videos I've ever seen. Probably the only video which really captures whole actions and not just the last two touches in 1007 angles. Usually the best-ever generation of a club that has enchanted the world is in the past. Like Cruyff's Ajax, Pelé's Santos, Liverpool from 1970 and 1980, Arrigo Sacchi's Milan and the Dutch trio ... And with this Barcelona from Messi, Iniesta, Xavi and Guardiola, we could feel the same as Santos fans when they saw Pelé and Ajax fans when they saw Cruyff. We experienced a magical time when we witnessed one of the best football squads of all time, led by one of the GOATs, Lionel Messi.

@@sakketin i dont think so. His stamina is reaaally bad. He never runs when he doesnt have the ball. He just stands there waiting for the ball to come. He preserves his energy smartly but it shows hes running out of energy quickly already. I dont think its motivation, hes very motivated to win the UCL at least.
