I think the fact of the matter is this high line offside trap is being figured out by teams. Even thinking back to the clasico, madrid were opening them up and it was only because of the offside trap working that barcelona weren't 3 or 4 behind in the first half. Once that stops working, barca has equally bad defense to madrid or worse. The key for both madrid and barca is to fix their defenses cuz right now neither may end of winning the league and definitely not the champions league

Honestly man, it might just be bc the amount of games and they’re simply tired, more prone to injury, I’m sure their training and recovery plans have changed due to the amount of games - leads to performances declining. Players may simply keep that struggle in bc their job is to play and if you’re a crucial player for the team - even more. That’s my general take.

I am a Liverpool fan and the only concern I had was injuries coz the number of games we have played in last 3 months is just insane. I was surprised how did we manage to win that many games with Alisson and Jota injured. And now arguably our best defender, Konate, is injured and we have forgotten how to defend. I am so so pissed at the schedule. I am afraid that this 'too many games' schedule is gonna ruin our season. Just like it's ruining Barcelona and Madrid's season.
