Bayern's budget is about a thousand times higher than Potsdam's. Bayern's facilities are a million times better. Bayern's squad is a million times better. Potsdam have performed a miracle simply remaining in the Bundesliga for as long as they have in recent years. They have been completely destroyed and simply do not have the investment to compete anymore in a top league.

There is a lot going on behind the scenes with Turbine Potsdam. A result like this is very very unusual in the women's professional leagues. Potsdam have been completely destroyed from the top club they used to be, and now operate on an absolutely tiny budget that is nowhere near Bayern's. They cannot attract players in the transfer windows as they do not have the funds, and their staff is made up of a very small group. They have been mismanaged and are suffering financially. All these things seemed to finally catch up with them today and they were totally defeated from the first minute of the game. Remember that they are the only team in the Bundesliga not backed by the funds and resources a big men's club. If you watch women's football regularly in the Bundesliga, you will see that a scoreline like this is extremely rare. That is a good thing as they do not reflect the high standards established in the league and they do not attract fans. In fact, they tend to be hijacked by the many sexist opponents of women's football and used as a vehicle to disparage the entire sport.

Mein Gott, da ist ja nix los im Stadion. In England wären 30.000 bei so einem Spiel im Stadion. Bayern eben....Marienplatz heute 20.000....in Dortmund wären es heute 300.000 Tausend gewesen.
