Matt talked about the death of someone named "Pussy" in a completely serious tone. What a legend.

i like how the spoiler tag is there as if it hides the big ass spoilers that comes right after it lmao

The elements of the cycle of abuse... "I promise I won't do it again." "I know that's a promise you can't keep." My father was an abuser when he was younger and I was very young. Hurt my mother quite a bit. He actually managed to change and never forgave himself...but he knew, that when he said "it won't happen again," that he couldn't be sure of that. He's one of the few people I've ever seen or known that's acknowledged that.

Campaign 3 is slowly getting it's hooks in me
@andrewg99962 жыл бұрын
Agreed! I have felt that it’s a little slow compared to the others, but last few episodes have started to grip me. Think we’re kicking into the main plot! Woop!

@@andrewg9996 i've seen multiple people say "they're just wandering around" and "it's like they're intentionally ignoring plot hooks", but they've been investigating the same mystery literally the entire time. everything they've done has directly led them deeper into the plot except for jihanna hexum's side quest

@@zurichRevolts I mean... I saved the entire Commonwealth from the Brotherhood of Steel and an NPC said "Thanks for all your help, I hope you find your son." "... who? Oh yeah!!" RPG's are fun because you can take the loooooooooooong path XD

@@andrewg9996 I've felt the opposite actually. I think the plot and characters were more interesting off the bat, had it's hooks in immediately. Fell off campaign 2.

@@zurichRevolts haha. I see both sides. I absolutely agree that they’ve been slowly chipping away at the same thing, it’s just been a little TOO slow for me personally, that’s all. I’ve certainly enjoyed it, it’s just been harder for me to maintain concentration at the start. Love The Nightmare King, though. Looking forward to watching them digging more into that!

This shit was awful, so just like that he’s almost forgiven? After he murdered her party it’s just going to be okay? Haha
@Blasted2Oblivion2 жыл бұрын
It really wasn't his fault though. Even he never knew about his rage mode and it was only revealed to him because his current party was able to shut it down before anyone died. More than that, he feels regret and a desire to fix a problem that isn't actually his fault. He isn't just accepting that it isn't his fault as an excuse and keeping it. He is probably one of the most pure souls in all of Exandria and immediately makes plans to remove the part of him that isn't. If that isn't worth at least giving him the benefit of the doubt then nothing is.

Last episode: Oh god, how did you find me? Please, don't kill me, don't ever talk to me again, I'm so terrified 5 minutes later: Hey buddy, how's it going? We sure had some good times. Don't worry about that whole massacre thing. Take care of yourself

@@Blasted2Oblivion nah, he's a robot. Idgaf, shut him down.
@kagomagica2 жыл бұрын
@@richardthompson1125 wat. Thats not what it was at all. They're literally just dropping him out of their life. Stopping short of shutting him down because they very clearly view robotic sentience as real sentience, so just killing a robot is killing a person, something that no one does with ease or lack of thought in these sorts of stories. The only reason they show him an ounce of the time of day is because they dont want OTHERS to get hurt, so if that means helping him, they'll do it. Bit FCG is dead to dancer, that is very clear. It is only the culmination of the contexts if these circumstances that they don't just completely aggro on them. Do also bear in mind that they have a past history. Some people get betrayed and immediately drop that past, others cant help but let it sway their feelings. It seems to be a complex mix of recognition, logic, and hatred that drove Dancer's response. I think that is quite well written.

The they/them pronouns are super confusing. I'm always wondering if Matt is talking about a group or one person.
@khnum21 Жыл бұрын
lol how is it confusing, people have used they/them in the singular for hundreds of years. Its just that now certain people prefer it! EXAMPLE: "I asked my boss for a raise, THEY said no!".
@toptentex3541 Жыл бұрын
@@khnum21 you are still talking about one unidentified person. I think you know what I mean, you're just ideologically motivated to pretend not to.
