Trip Report [Business Class] São Paulo (GRU) to Frankfurt (FRA) on Board Lufthansa

Guess it was the 25C where there Cathay Pacific Cargo was leaving. The 25R is on the other side of the airport - the so called “Nordwestbahn” (for landing only). Nice video ! And yes, it’s soooo spuki and scary if the airport is so empty.

Realy cool report. On the one hand it's really sad to see the empty airports but on the other hand it must be ten times more comfortable to travel ... I totally agree, the breakfast was really subpar for a business class .

Leander Travels yeah I was booked on a Latam flight. Since LATAM offered flexible changes I was able to change to a day when only Lufthansa operated. The return flight will be on board LATAM though. At least that’s the plan for now.

Your complaint regarding breakfast seems excessive since AA only serves a cold option to/from Europe post COVID-19 in B/C. At least yours was a hot option. AA only offers cold bread for both lunch, dinner, and breakfast. Your croissant appeared to have been heated.

Maybe Lufthansa may operate the 777-9 to Sao Paulo soon

I think Lufthansa will still operate their largest aircraft on the GRU route from Frankfurt. The demand for seats on this route is usually really high. I think once Corona is over this demand will pick up quite fast. Also there’s a lot of cargo that’s being transported by Lufthansa on this route.
