FDA approves ALS treatment for patients with genetic disease

The FDA has fast-tracked a new ALS treatment for patients whose disease is genetic. Patients who have been getting the injections report a slowing of their disease progression and even renewed strength.

This is great to hear. My husband passed away from SOD1 genetic ALS. He was in his 20s. We had a daughter together. Hopefully she doesn't have this , but this gives me hope for a fighting chance if it comes.
