FDC PRESIDENT BLAMED MUSEVENI REGIME FOR INCREASE POVERTY IN BUGISU REGION

Patrick Oboi Amuriat The Forum for Democratic change party has blamed National Resistance movements under the leadership of Yoweri Kanguta Museveni government for increase poverty levels and failure to compensate war claimants of Bulambuli , other parts of Bugisu Region.
According to Amuriat , Museveni has poisoned Ugandans with handouts, continued corruption amongst Technocrates in his regime leading to vulnerability of Ugandans.
Amuriat said that several war claimants in Bulambuli, others parts of Bugisu Region are in worrying state and besides there relatives killed , many sustaining permanent injuries and lost all of properties during different wars against the NRM government, properties were burnt.
He added that Since 2005, the war victims have waged a compensation claim battle with the government involving several attempts to meet President Museveni and at some point dragged the government to court but to date, nothing has materialized.
