Knowing that with all the decisions fdgod has to make, he still manages to perfectly ult track, having his comms during official matches with spectator view is insane. "They have this ult at 60%, that ult at 80%…" and seeing on the spectator hud that everything he said is correct is mind blowing

I believe Ataraxia are investing more in FS+MS now. My Sauna video covers Ataraxia's map win over SSG, and Ataraxia were running the Bap Lucio. On this new patch I am also unsure if Ataraxia will continue to run their Double FS compositions outside of the normal maps teams would run it anyways.

I think these comps are a bit behind the meta, I think the falcons Genji-Venture is the way, especially the Genji. And tbh - and this is my own thought - I'm not 100% sure that the Lucio is even the best choice. We saw CR and F both test out the Bap and the Kiri, but I think they should use both. Both window and kitsune are really useful for countering Mauga Ult, and combo well with it, and I think both, in that context, offer more than beat. And if you are running the Venture too, you have the boop available. The only issue is player flexibility - how many main supports are good enough at Kiri that it'll be better than running Lucio, and can teams run double projectile DPS easily?

So to go through every point quickly 1: Venture+Genji is map dependent and is countered by Pharah Cass on maps with long sightlines and various high grounds. The composition could maybe work on 1st or 3rd Hollywood with varying success but wouldn't be good on 2nd. This is something even Falcons were aware of with their composition. 2: No Lucio with Mauga is a hardcore throw. You cannot kite, you do not have Beat to match, you cannot easily mark opposing DPS. Something as simple as making a basic rotation will be significantly more difficult and easier to punish for the opposing team. You will get ran over like a freight train against any decent team. There is a reason why you almost always see Lucio, and this is why. Bap is a pick used against the Pharah teams as well as Brawl and it's situational. Kiriko is best in the Mauga mirror most of the time.

Usually it is map dependent. Genji tends to be stronger on maps with shorter sightlines. Preference does matter though, map-dependency is not a hard rule.

boop is a very quick cooldown, basically if you see a overturning favor to use it in your mind where it disrupts someone's position it's great
