@@jamesbarlow6423 Wow! Commenting on other comments from 1 year ago and you think you have all the answers? Don't try and tell others what they've forgotten and the supposed consequences. You believe whatever you want but my comment still stands. I will NEVER forget the horror of that day and will remember the victims every 9/11 until I die. Try staying current before commenting and leave others to their emotions, even if you have none or don't agree with them.

It’s crazy it took over an hour from the second collapse at 1:41:00 until 2:44:00 to establish a new command post led by a chief. It just shows how chaotic the situation was and how many department leaders were lost in the collapses.

It was pure coincidence that the Naudet brothers were filming a documentary about a probie assigned to the station closest to the WTC and one of the brothers just happened to be filming the firefighters from that station checking for a gas leak on a street with a line of sight directly to the north side of the north tower right when American Airlines flight 11 impacted the building. I’m not aware of any other footage that shows such a clear view of that historic moment. Because they were tagging along with those firefighters, we can correlate much of this dispatch audio to what has happening at ground zero. All other footage is limited to what is happening outside. Today, everyone carries a video camera and events are frequently captured for posterity but in 2001 this was not the case and it’s just pure luck that the Naudets gave us such a revealing perspective to this infamous incident.

Some people say it was a missile and footage was edited but the very first transmission was them saying it was an airplane. There’s no way they can say the government told them to lie about it now.
@jtgd
@jtgd 4 ай бұрын
They don’t care. Literal eyewitnesses and survivors have given their explanations of what they experienced, and i personally am related to eyewitnesses. There was no “bombs” or missiles attacking the building. The building did fall into itself and failed. Many good people died, and its considered insulting to ignore what happened and daydream about covert conspiracy theories. Especially the ones that suggest the passengers didn’t die or didn’t exist.

It's amazes me that 22 years later the amount of stress that the dispatching centers alone had for this tragic day in NYC, DC and PA. Every side of emergency services; law enforcement, fire, EMS, and dispatchers were pushed to their limits but still powered through because the hardest thing to do was the right thing to do.

First it takes forever to climb thst high caring 100lbs of gear. Orio Palmer was a runner, he ran the stairs after taking the elevator as far as it went. Later the elevator quit working trapping firefighters in the elevator. They tried to axe they way out. Never heard if they made it. GOD Bless all the innocent people who died.

It’s impressive that it took Chief Pfeiffer within a minute to recognize its not an accident. Even more that they made an official announcement that it was likely a terror attack only 2 minutes after the attack. Probably made the second crash less confusing and more reasonable to believe for those inside the building, especially with some as eyewitnesses.

Was doing a blood drive at UNIVERSITY in New Orleans was talking to a couple of donors and every time a plain flew around UNO they would start taking in a foreign language. After a while one of the guys looked really nervous and passed out. About 20 minutes later I was talking to one of the girls working in front of the library and a couple of men from overseas was talking crazy and I told the girl that I was talking to that it sounds like terrorist and she said at the same time that sounds like sabotage. Then the 3or4 men took off around the side of the library. Then the next thing I hear the next day is about the train center and a plain crashing into it. And I was talking to someone in the super market and telling them what we heard the day before and the second plain crashed. I'm freaking out and left the supermarket and stopped and told my mom about it. I also told the blood center what we heard the day before. This is crazy because there were people that I feel knew what was going to happen before it happened. Because they had no reason to be panicking when they were seeing plains over head . Or the people talking off around the building when we said they were talking crazy. I still feel like someone should have checked out what I told them I heard and saw on the blood drive that day. They have cameras there by the library and record showing the boy that passed out that day . And could see pictures of the men from eather Iran or Iraqi. I will always believe that those foreners knew what was going to happen.
