FDNY RESCUE 1 responding URGENT to High Rise FIRE in Manhattan New York City !! Super OLD spare RIG.

On Thursday 2/10/2022 around 4:30pm A 10-77 (code for a fire in a high rise residential building) was transmitted for a fire on East 39th Street in Midtown Manhattan and Rescue company 1 was assigned to the box. Here we see them respond with a year 2002 Saulsbury rig.

Here in Italy we have often 20 yo rigs but we don't call them old they usually run the for at least 25 years and many go 30 40 even 50

Woow thats the old E-One /Salsbury Rig that was donated by E-One after 9/11 attacks destroyed most of the front line rescues in the city . I can’t imagine with all the newer Ferrara spares available how the the Shop gave them that 20 year old spare to use , I’d love to hear the story behind that…

Ex Rescue 3, this belonged to my grand uncle’s rescue company from 2002-2011, if it had the big blue logo it would be really obvious that this belonged to Rescue 3, but the rear exposed beacons will prove this belonged to Rescue 3 even the Rescue 3 9/11 decal on the rig
