This is one of eleven 16mm films of home movie footage captured or collected by Marguerite (Missy) LeHand. The LeHand films were donated to the Roosevelt Library by Barbara Collins Jacques in honor of her great aunt, Missy LeHand, and her mother, Marguerite Farwell Collins.
These candid scenes, shot in both color and black-and-white, date roughly 1932 to 1941. They depict a wide range of personal relationships and activities enjoyed by the Roosevelts’ large and dynamic group of friends, family, and advisers. Film ID MP 17-03(8).
