I bought this mic 4 months ago, I am so pleased with the quality for price and everyone complements me on my sound quality all the time. I run it through a Scarlet Focus right 2i2 and have noise gate, and compression through OBS running on with it. Thank you for confirming what I already knew. Great mic for the price. Cheers!

Off axis rejection is quite good (without any processing) and later when you added some processing things improved quite nicely!!!! A few more highs and a little less bass made for a bit more "natural" sound (whatever the heck that could mean - LOL!). I don't do podcasts, more voiceover work, but I'm interested in the less expensive mikes and this one tweaked my interest! The interior segments you pointed out seem to really isolate the mike from handling and breath noise and made exterior noise quite acceptable. NICE JOB OF A REVIEW!!!!! THANKS!!!!!!

I got this for 29 USD on Aliexpress and with a little bit of tweaking this is PERFECT for untreated rooms with a lot of reflections. I also have the SM7B, NT1a and a AKG P120 and they are far more sensitive to this but in this usecase I actually don't want that.

So, I have the exact microphone that was bought through TEMU, though. I also bought a mixer along with it from there (a professional audio). I'm using my laptop (which is an HP Envy x360) to connect both through. Unfortunately, I'm still not able to hear any sound from my mic, though. With that being said, what else would you recommend in order to get better sound quality out of it (thanks in advance)?!

I was surprised that this mic had decent sound, to be honest. I tend to opt for more pricey models, such as the SM7B and the UA SD-1, but I DO have two of the 50th Anniversary Rode PodMics (in red). I got those purely for mobile use, and added two clip-on pop filters for good measure. By the way, where did you get that KZbin subscriber/views screen in the background? Interested in one of those....
