I watched the video, and yes, he uses a controller to play the game while recording on what seems to be on a laptop (Seen in the comments section), or an Xbox Series X|S. Either way, a pretty cool feature (Edux, please correct me if I am wrong).

Yeah I recorded it on my Xbox Series X because I can't record on 4K with my laptop and my videos recorded on my laptop are poor quality (1080p 30 FPS) and I wanted more, so that is why I recorded on my Xbox Series X, to record on 4K video quality.
