​@@techpriest6962 You do realize that Nemesis is basically the Chapter 1 bandit boss that has roided out with magic dragon blood right? He snuck into Zando, kidnapped Sothis, drank her blood and the Agarthans turned her into the Sword.

@@q-tip9962 You need to do the other routes in the game. Only by Rhea is Nemesis ever referred to as a bandit. In every route and discussion about Nemesis, he is referred to as the leader of the Liberation Army. As we all know turned Sothis body into the Sword of the Creator (with the Agarthian's help) and then massacred the Children of Sothis before going on to unite the entire eastern half of the continent as the King of Liberation. If you are familiar with the other routes, Nemesis is remembered as a hero by most of the continent for liberating them from the dragons masquerading as humans alongside the 10 elites. Which is why Rhea talks about how she could not simply write him off as evil in the history books, and instead created the lie of him being corrupted by the power he had, and the lie the sword was gifted to him by the goddess. Taking the above in mind, that means Nemesis did not just deal with the Children of Sothis during the massacre. Rather the entire time he was at war liberating the eastern continent it was implied Children of Sothis were controlling / manipulating these kingdoms to their own interest. Nemesis was not conquering for the sake of conquering, as he wasn't interested on going to war with the Adrestian Empire. After the war of liberation, he set his sights on Almyra next. That is until Seiros convinced the emperor to invade the liberated kingdoms, forcing Nemesis to lead his armies back in response. To which the battle between Nemesis and Seiros occurs shortly after. Which this part about the empire attacking first and nemesis not actually being corrupted is revealed in the CF route since only the emperor that sided with Seiros (not knowing she was a child of sothis at the time) knew the truth. Nemesis is not the villain you think he is, in fact he is not a villain at all unless you do the church aligned routes VW, SS, Etc.

(Sorry I'm adding my oc in here he is a character in my dnd that is the god of war, Champions, honor and loyalty) Nemesis awoke to see himself in what looks to be a... forge? He looked around confused as he was sure that he was dead then he heard a booming voice "AH IS SEEMS THAT THE BUTCHERER OF A GOD HAS FINALLY SHOWN HIS FACE WELCOME TO MY FORGE I AM THE GOD OF WAR ARES" (remember this is a different ares he is actually quite nice) Nemesis looks and sees a massive suit of armor sitting on a throne Nemesis readies himself for a fight and asks "i was sure i was slain why am i here" "WHY ELSE" the voice resounds echoing in the vast room "I HAVE COME TO PLACE JUDJMENT ON YOUR MERITS AND" as the voice pauses the room goes dead silent as if even the air in this place is at his command "to see if you are worthy of the title i just gave you" he says oddly quietly but just as easily heard as when he yelled Nemesis saw the armor transform after saying that last bit the armore started to shrink as it walked towards him as soon as it got to his height the armor was right in front of his face the armor removed it's, no.. his helmet Nemesis saw the face of this god while shocked the god spoke "so lets see if you can kill a god that isn't in a coma"
