26:32 I'm so glad that I'm not the only one who believes Kaiser, Le'garde, and the yellow king are all the same person. I keep seeing segestions that the yellow king is an alternate non-cannon version of the Kaiser, if the party from the orginal game succeds in helping him ascend without dying. They say that the yellow king isn't real because termina confirms that in some way D'arce's S ending is cannon and revived Le'gaurd is the Kaiser, NOT the yellow king, because the yellow king united the land :D land Kaiser is mustache man stand in D: But like there are 400+ years between events, both can be true, they don't contradict. An unknowable number of things could have happened between appearances.

Ya know now that you mention it I’ve actually never questions or examined Griffith’s desire to become king. I guess by that point in the story everything is so bleak that the prospect of upending the status quo instills a blind a foolish hope. Things the world of berserk are terrible so if a character you like says they want to become king and fix everything you might find yourself asking zero questions. The hope Griffith represented during golden age was a lie the whole time. The layers of berserk are fascinating.

Legarde doesn't become the yellow king he dies and darce brings him back as a vampire that's why he has a soul ananchor in termina and he loses his skin when you hit him enough and when darce brings him back in her s ending he molts out of his skin

He doesn’t necessarily molt. Darce removes the skin for him after he resurrects as he states “Shed my human skin. I don’t need it anymore.”

His skin being that way could be from him being within the green hue for too long. Almost every enemy we fight in the green hue has it's flesh turn weird. It's too bad we don't know the cannon ending yet. The only person confirmed from the main 4 to reach the throne is Enki.
