Yes, the betting truly was 50/50, he could wander in circles for 15 minutes and it would be believer win, if he wanted to check the hole a second, third or fourth time, it'd be doubter win The wisest decision was to not bet on such an unstable variable, but chat is too addicted to do this

I once heard somebody describe Fear and Hunger as "the game that hates you" and it seems like a pretty apt description with how many soulstones Albino has lost

I think fear and hunger is interesting because there are few times when the game punishes you for doing something right like noita does It just... doesnt respect in the slightedt

Man quit Darkest Dungeon, but then plays this, truly intriguing.

If you aren't playing on the highest difficulty this game somehow punishes you less for messing up and/or dying

Yet both games reward the player for learning and preparing for encounters with a much easier time. F&H is much shorter and there's less to learn, so I also felt like there was less to be punished with.

While i agree with you, you can't just say that since there's rng in 95% of darkest dungeon, from literally just walking somewhere to the entire combat system

There is lots of rng in Darkest Dungeon and I do not believe it to be of much impact unless everything goes wrong. Which it does sometimes, and so it does in Fear and Hunger. I believe the games to be quite similar.
