to negative comments... The foreigners worker in Malaysia also have right opportunities to have fun from hard long working hours.. They also humans.. Working in dirty or dangerous sectors that none malaysian don't want to work in.. So as a malaysian I don't mind see them have a good time here spending their money ... They don't border us... So let it be...its not like u will see them everyday... Just on long holidays... Selamat hari raya...

Looks like mostly migrant workers. The bulk of tourists e.g. from China are not here as they are being locked down. Anyway be it KLites or migrant workers it is great to see the crowds. 🥰😍👍👍🎉 See you soon KL in June 2022, our school holidays.

They are not immigrants but foreign labours. They can't get Malaysian citizenship and have to renew their work permit annually with levy to pay for using our country's public facilities and services. Illegal foreign workers are different and we hope that our government dealt with them severely (imprisonment and canning).

I am KLite and ironically, i will try to avoid going to BB..before 2020 and even now. BB is only for Out of Towners, Foreign Tourist and off course foreign workers from Bangladesh, nepalese and such..and too many Myanmar(Rohingya) refugees in BB now doing some beggar and try to pickpocket..what a mess.
@muhd71442 жыл бұрын
Yes I DBKL should do something about those foreign beggars (usually Rohingya ladies and the mandatory babies to harvest sympathy). The look fit and healthy just lazy to work. Such eye sores and give bad impression to tourists who think they are Malaysians.

That statement of people from all over the world are here is overstated. There could be tourists here but in fact its the foreign workers & KLites who have a long weekend of leave taking the opportunity to be in Bukit Bintang when most of the city folks are out of town.

Indeed, from what I could tell, for example here 6:19, many are foreign workers (Bangladesh) having their break during hari raya holidays.
