This band got me through my teens. And as a drummer im proud to say that Ray herrera taught me syncopation.

Good Gourd. I remembered this song from the old Test Drive: Off Road; Wide Open video game from over 8 years ago but I couldn't remember the title. Took me awhile to find it. I always tried to play the drums to this song as a kid but failed miserably. Now that I found the song again I might be able to give it a better run but this dude has better technique than most metal drummers.

@Jasonv078 Demanufacture and Obsolete were considered modern metal at the time of their release, too I really like the sound that Mechanize has. That album has really put FF back on the metal radar. This album is great for FF because they kept their heavy sound and got loads of new fans without selling out. My guess is that they will stay similar or the same for future releases, which I'm fine with. Archetype I have mixed opinions about. Wolbers was an okay guitar player, but not very original

@GeneralAjaxus maybe, but i think obsolete is a little better because is a classic FF album, Mechanize is more of a modern metal sound and doesnt sounds like the real FF of every album.

You can't compare Black Sabbath with FF... it's like comparing an apple with a pear! To me Sabbath was the first Heavy band, so think about what you say. I suppose you don't know much about Black Sabbath and their huge influence in the whole metal world.
