Raymond Herrera was known as the Human drum machine when this album came out. Vinnie Paul from Pantera thought it was a drum machine until he toured with Fear Factory back in the 90's. The thing is now everything is digitalized and most drummers are reaching higher standards because of the help of one line teaching. So, back to what I was saying. I'm afraid that on the recording it is Raymond's drums you are hearing and not a drum machine.

I'm no drummer, but I guess it's called "hertas" or triplets (not the same thing). 66Samus has a video on it. He even mentions Zero Signal if I'm not mistaken.

I love your Fear Factory covers, but I honestly HATE the sound of your hi-hat. The rest of your kit sounds fine, even with that tiny, lifted bass drum, but seriously, your hi-hat detracts from the song, sounds like a pair of trash can lids, and is the one and only criticism I have of your rather spotless covers.

Yep, the hat sounds bad. I still think e-kits have a long, long way to go before they can mimic real drums but it's getting there slowly. :) All new videos have new sounds.
