It was attended by over 22,000 Muslims. It featured many top scholars and activists, in addition to many special events like 1000 Meals Distribution in Downtown Baltimore, 750 Mercy Bags distribution to senior homes and Street dawah at Inner Harbor.

I myself was afraid of disease, I fear disease more than anything to the point I think im such a clean freak.. I currently studying medicine and after almost completing my pre-clinical years my fear has become more '"comprehensive" as I gain knowledge of diseases (mostly infectious ones) which I afraid of getting contact to, I planned my health, trying to not getting sick in most time.. but as the course Im taking is medicine (which taught students to become doctor) and I am about to enter clinical years soon, IT stressed me out very badly, because not only I have to study in hospital (where sick people all gathered in one place) clinical years means I have to do the night shifts also, which I thought NOT very ideal for my health, because it could give me no time for sleep at night while the next day I have to continue learning from morning till noon, and so senior said they had 32 hours full in hospital without sleep and studying 5 days a week, calmly like it was nothing. One of the senior told us that splitting your night shift with your friend is not prohibited, as it reduce your time to learn to become a good doctor for patients. At some point I was mad at the system of medical school, because its like abusing oneself to work hard while exposing its student with various chance of getting disease through sick patients, I was realllly mad at it and I cried 7 days and 7 nights just thinking about it.. I told my parents that im considering not to be a doctor, in order to escape that clinical phase of medical education program, I became depressed just thinking on how sad it is to leave your friends after 3,5 years studying together, my parents said they will support my decision whatever i take as long it make me happy, but inside I Knew my mother actually still want me become a doctor and she told me story of her friend getting sick (of old age) and not be able to walk normally, she looks like she is sad and afraid, which added to my depressing thoughts about not continue pursuing to became a doctor Until ALLAH SWT Hint my mind with a lesson.. which came from prophet Ayoub pbuh, HE was sick for 18 years, and at any point he could have make dua to ALLAH SWT to stop the disease (which come from satan pleads beacause they wanted to know if Ayoub will became distressed and kufr with his condition) but HE DIDN'T. Why is that happening? On the narration it is said his wife asked him to make du'a to GOD, But he resisted, because he was ashamed if He complain of his condition after ALLAH SWT gave him years of good life, it was senseless when I first heard it, because he had to endure years of being sick, BUT now i know, there is something more important than prosperity in this dunya, or your child, or acceptance of people (in the case of prophet Ayoub pbuh), or even your own health, and that is being LOVED by ALLAH SWT And so im considering to become a doctor again, not only to overcome my fear of nothing, but also to show my mom that there is nothing to be afraid to, not even become old and lose your health, or die, as long as Allah loves you.. Side not: after making prayer to Allah SwT Ayoub pbuh regain his health and wealth in abundance, so this was a happy ending story :")

I used fear for motivating myself to prepare for exam as I had issues in learning. So two days before exam I was doing things in a slow pace and lagging the timelines but the night before exam my anxiety and fear reaches at its height and I hardly finish revising the stuff just before sitting the exam. Though I got good grades but the pain I endured was awful as my fear make this whole process a matter of life and death for me. My slow learning was due to obsession for perfectionism, low self confidence and attention deficiency. I still suffer in similar manner in professional life and this puts me so low emotionally and gets depression and anxiety disorders. Getting stuck in this vicious cycle and seems no help since last 20 years. Any help.
