The only thing I fear,other than God,is my going on ten year old debt. And the fact that I'm over sixty and not as full of piss and vinegar as I used to be. Which is making it even harder to deal with the high interest debt. Who is helping!? God!? Men just HEAP it on top of you! Banks! Heap it on top of you! PG&E! Heap it on top of you! Fear! Heaps it on top of you!

There are 3 meanings of the English word ‘with’ in Greek: 1. Syn = together in a room with someone 2. Meta = on the same side with someone 3. Pros = Face-to-face; most intimate way (example John 1:1) When Jesus gave his parting words to his followers, he said “I will be with you”, which is odd to English readers because he’s physically leaving them. But the word he used is not Syn but Meta - indeed he is currently working on our behalf to complete the work of sanctification. This is why he seems far but very near at the same time. We get the benefit and he gets the glory.
