40 year issue for me. Normal (even kind of low) BP at home, nearly doubles in doctor's office along with my pulse rate. I classify it as a phobia; so much more than 'white coat syndrome'. Lots of bad experiences where nurses or doctors have shocked reactions so it's humiliating as well as terrifying. I am nearly 60 now. This started when I was a teenager! And I am of normal/thin weight. It's a real problem and it keeps me from getting medical care unless I have to, so it's dangerous as well. Current doctor has great bedside manner so it's a little better with him. Have to get third colonoscopy this year in 3 months and the only thing I dread about it is the BP check... I hope the tapping can help.

I just want to thank you. I had a doctor's appt. this morning and I was VERY anxious about it. I have white coat syndrome & I never know what to do about it. This is most do to a fear condition response is hard for others to understand the mechanism behind it. Anticipatory anxiety is the main strategy that leads to that response

Thanks for this video as well as all of your other videos. I had a bad experience with a Dr. which caused my pulse to race. Now, even an eye Dr administering eye drops cause my pulse to race. He explained that I am having a vasovagal response. I believe that this video helps tremendously with that. Thank you!

I was an MA for many years, this is definitely a real issue! I had a technique that I used. I would chat, get all vitals, tests etc, and then get the blood pressure. After they relaxed with my goofy bedside manner, their blood pressure would normalize. However, men are in a chronic hurry and don’t tolerate any waiting, so I get all vitals and get out as quickly as possible.😁🙄😂😂😂

Question, please. I’ve been tallying/EFT for many years. In this video I’m noticing you talking on cheekbone and then down further. I’ll say nasal area. Are these separate points? Is this new? Thank you!

You can see all the tapping points in my beginners guide to tapping, but I am tapping under the eye (sometimes my glasses get in the way...but it is the under eye point) and then under the nose :) hope this helps!
