First thing first: Dawn Crosby Rest in Metal!!! You are and always will be a fucking legend and inspiration within the realm of heavy vocalists. Not female. Not for the time period. Just simply period. I've watched you sing countless times where you shift through styles like there's no thought or method to it. It just happens. I see you do the high screams or lowish growls and you don't even try. You don't seem to barely manipulate your vocal cords at all! It boggles my mind!!! And let's not forget your writing. The way you structure those seemingly subtle vocal changes is something you can't write I don't think, you felt every ounce of that craziness and pulled it from the ether to land on this planet and show the pretenders how it's done. Lastly your lyrics send chills down my spine. Brutally dark and personal yet at times creepily metaphorical. YOU ARE A FUCKIN LEGEND!!! I wish you were still here and I wish I had witnessed you perform in person. I write this in tears because for the most part I despise humanity. But you were one of the ones who deserved more. It's sad the world lost you at that age and sort of ridiculous that it was alcohol, the one legal drug. Probably could have done a bunch of illegal shit instead and survived. I digress. You are loved and respected by many and I hope you knew that. Thank you for taking us on this journey and we will all see you soon Dawn!!!
Fear of God live outside of Los Angeles. This band wrote an absolutely mythical level masterpiece of Metal. Sadly despite being released by major label giant Werner Bros. it went unnoticed. Dawn is one of the pioneers of female heavy vocals going from an edgy rock vocal to growls to screams in one effortless swoop! You think Karyn Crisis invented that? Nope that would be Ms Crosby here...
This may be one of the best quality no budget live recordings you will ever have the chance to watch. I've seen and own thousands and it's the best I can recall. With single camera work floating around the stage in their faces and sound I'm guessing taken directly from the front of house, this is bad-assery all courtesy of ‪@rock-steadi-cam5058‬ I suggest you let this be your introduction to the band if you aren't familiar already. This performance is mesmerizing and enthralling. It takes you on a journey far beyond the deepest depths at the most twisted parts of your soul. Think I'm over hyping it? Get you a little drink, a puff or a toot and give it a try with an open mind. Just make sure you're strapped in!!!!

I just want old fans to witness your killer work and hope potential fans get to see an unrecognized legendary band perform at their peak and get won over.
