If the Cowboys draft Brooks, there is no need for Henry. But, most likely the only round the Cowboys will have a shot at Brooks will be round 1, which I don't see him being the pick at.

I am sorry I think he is fools gold all the way. First off he seems too small to be a bell cow back. I think he is indecisive at times. He played in a weak conference in regards to run def. A torn ACL is super worrisome will he be Breece Hall coming of a torn ACL or JK Dobbins coming off an ACL? Just wayyy too risky. NFL is a different animal and I see him as a 3yds per rush guy. I don’t think he’s a tough runner. I think he folds like a cheap lawn chair. Also he played on a loaded offense that have potentially 2- 1st round WR prospects, potentially a 2nd round TE with a QB that could have gone late 1st to mid 2nd in this years draft. He benefited because of this. The other RBs Texas deployed were just as successful after Brooks went down. Like I said the RBs were a product of the talent elsewhere on the offense causing the defense to game plan around the passing game. My advice let this guy pass as he will probably be a third down/change of pace back at best.

This is a no for me Dawg. #1 reason torn ACL in NOV typical recovery is 1 full year. so spend a draft pick on a player who wont even play ? Dont have the draft capital nor the roster to draft and redshirt him. So wouldnt be able to expect anything from him til 2025 season. Need a starter now not a year from now.
