I lived in China for 3.5 years and thought i had a pretty good overview of the metal scene over there but i completely missed this band, shame on me. Asia is full of amazing metalbands, not just China (the least known for obvious reasons and a national market big enough) but also Taiwan, South Korea, Japan This is awesome shit

Yeah very good band, but they are also pretty famous by now, i saw them at Wacken Festival in Germany this year. But there are litterarily tons of underground bands in asia similar to Fearless.

Their song 'the tyrant rises' has an erhu solo, but i think it's from a keyboard, for other metal bands that use erhu check out Dream Spirit, Chthonic, Black Kirin, Hsu-Nami, Fu Xi and Crescent Lament.

Chinese metal bands cannot play anything heavier than COB style melodic death metal because very few people like heavy music. It’s a sad story because there’re so many bands who have talents and want to play something heavier, but as you know, they need money to keep on there music dream. You won’t get anything if you play death metal in China.
