I have had alot of pain in my life. I have lost alot of good friends and family members but the worst wad lossing the love of my life to cancer. It has scared me to my very soul and I will never be the same as before but I know that I will see her again in the end on the far side of heaven. I've been listening to a lot of these songs lately, from Walter and the ones submited at HDSoundDI. Loving them all. This one, unlike most, doesn't give me strength. It's not the music's fault. It's because the first 2 minutes and 30 seconds resonate this particular moment. I had this music playing in my head, these 150 seconds, in loop for my cat last days. I lost her brother 3 years ago, and a month ago, it was her time too. I was 9 years old when I met them. I'm 25 now. It's a long time. I grew up with them, graduated, painted a lot, found the love of my life, travelled around... She was ill for a week, and I felt she couldn't be cured. She decided her time had come. Before her departure, I looked at her eyes and she wasn't the same anymore. I knew she would be gone in a few days... One morning I found her in a weird position. She meowed back. She was purring. But that was not of happiness. It was of discomfort. She didn't even got up to pee. We put her in the couch, feeling her hair, while we waited for the vet to come and euthanize her. She wouldn't move much. I cried so much for that hour or so. These 150 seconds looping. Looping. The end of an era. At 0:45, but 0:50 in particular... It crushed me for the next days. The moment was hard and deep enough, but this piece gave it more meaning. And sometimes we need to let ourselves go deep, feel more, cry all of it. While we waited, I was sitting in front of her. For a few moments, she looked right at me. Her eyes were tired, but in that moment I could see her. Even after I felt like she was not there anymore, before the vet came, she looked at me. It was a look from her I never saw before. Calm. Almost like she was saying she was ready. That she was tired. But that she would always remain the same fierce beautiful cat. Similar thing happened to her brother years ago. Right before he was put to sleep, though he was scared the hole time because of the vet, in that moment he wasn't scared. We said how much we loved him. How much we'd miss him. His eyes were peacefull. Almost smiling. Almost like he was saying the same to us. We layed her. Held her. The vet did her job. She passed away on the couch. At home. Even our dog stopped barking right before they put her to sleep and until the vets left with her small fragile body covered in a blanket. Loosing a pet can be so much harder than loosing a person. Because their love is always unconditional. They don't demand, they don't judge, they don't ask, they don't bribe, they don't talk. Yet they speak fluently a language we often forget. Funny how I could see in her eyes when something was wrong, or when she was ok or not. How I could feel she was not the cat I knew when she was close to pass away, just the day before. It's harder with humans. We talk too much. Being for them when their time has come, is something you never forget. But I rest in peace knowing I was there when she was leaving. That I didn't leave her alone. And I would do it again and again with any pet. They are angels. The scars they heal... Thank you for your amazing music, Walter. :)

There are two type of victories. 1 Climbing mountains 2 Getting back in the surface, or standing up again. Climbing mountains it's easier, there is a challenge to win, there is a goal to reach, but this kind of experience isn't good for developing character. It's falling so deep in despair and having the need to stand up again that teaches the most valuable lessons. It's so hard to fight the hopelesness, the feeling of failure, of solitudine. This kind of challange feels the best when it's over. I've beaten down my 8 years long depression while i was busy archiving my dreams. The feeling of victory is so strong, i feel invincibile. You will stand up again, you got this. That day you will feel the same. 🫂

I don't understand why Fearless Motivation Instrumentals aren't more renowned in the "Epic Music" arena. They sometimes suffer from a little more repetition then other big names like Two Steps From Hell but generally I find them to oftentimes feel more epic and emotional with bigger climaxes and such. Most people visiting the channel don't appear to be there for the music (and that's fine). Their actual music doesn't appear to have nearly as much repertoire as the big names in epic music. Therefore I much prefer your mixes because they're easy for me to find.

This music reminds me of the night my father passed away. First, the overwhelming sadness of what had just occurred and then just standing next to his beside holding his hand. Then walking out of the hospital, leaving him there and thinking about what my future was going to be like without him. That a huge part of my life was over permanently. Then as the music picks up, it's like he is whispering to me, " this is your time to be the father, the dad...etc. I may be gone but you carry the family name now. Live your life and I'll be there at the end waiting for you".
