How is home alone above norwood? Norwood was a way more massive story and it was intriguing but home alone was ig good but it was so short

@@Sesmo80 to me it was pretty mid. A chick, all alone, getting depaR by someone who accidentally saw her, very convenient. Home alone was the typical scenario of you thinking you are safe in your own home, but you are not, whereas Norwood was just another "picking the most dangerous scenarios and think it won't go wrong" type story. In my opinion.

@@a_balloon I think the biggest problem I have with your ranking is that you put Woodbury Gateway in 2nd position. I must say I haven't played it myself, but I have seen three entire playthroughs of it and it seems drawn out. Too long for little happening, not managing to build the horror scene it should. This opinion is shared by many. There is basically no plot twist until the very end. There could have been some surprise while hidding for instance. During most of the episode, they only play on the card of "Michael has creepy intentions", but this is not scary at all.

So, basically, nothing happens until it is obvious that it is going to happen, so they waisted all the previous occasions to surprise you in a better way.

@@visored3027 Exactly, it was a promising exploration of the themes of 1 and 3, but poorly executed and drawn out. Too long for little happening. There were many chances to surprise the player (while playing in the house, for instance), but the only way the player is in real danger is a time very easily anticipated.

in my opinion, episode 4, ironbark lookout, despite not being my favorite nor the best among the others, remains in my opinion the most complex and mysterious, being based on real events, it is too strange to imagine that a guy common, he started working as a tower guard, witnessed and saw cultists who were wanted years after what happened in the 2000s, and managed to record everything in 2023 to create an incredible game, in my opinion, it is the most complex, very cool as Everyone was curious to know where the tower was located, which forest it happened in, etc.

Also fun fact: Ironbark Lookout the one and only episode, where actions happens outside home in forest. Its basically my opinion, all of us has different favourite episodes.

I found Episode 1 the scariest, but Ironbark Lookout was the best overall story and experience. The man with the hammer is the least scary but was a nice twist. Not many death opportunities compared to the others as he only becomes hostile at the end.

Like imagine if you're playing another episode and it's just a 1v1 battle with a higher chance of winning and there is also someone backing you up. This won't happen in Ironbark lookout knowing that Connor didn't give a sh*t about the cult, and also the sussy bill was useless anyway. And it's not even 1v1, it's one against ALL.
