An inspiring homily, Thank you. I love Catherine. I was involved in helping with the translation of her letters with Sr.Mary John OP and Fr.Kenelm Foster OP. It was a privilege....I am Discalced Carmelite Secular, and it was Fr.Paul Murray who asked for me to help with the translation.

her 'greatest personal struggle' on minute 3.37-4.33 transcribed: "...more profoundly, she has set free to love. Catherine was a passionate woman. She said: 'my nature is fire!'. She became deeply attached to people, passionately. There's one young boy, Stephano, whom she obviously loved deeply. She wrote to his mother :' I have become one with him'. And I suspect the greatest personal struggle for Catherine was to become free of jealousy. Imagine, that 'dizzy freedom' of being able to love someone deeply, who loves other people more than they love you" Thanks father for sharing this with us!
