Excellent, never heard this before. Not only does it point to Mary’s fulfillment of Jeremiah’s prophecy regarding the return of the Ark of the Covenant. It also confirms the fulfillment of a prophecy relating to the return of the Jews to the promised land after the Babylonian captivity. The Scattered Jews returned to Israel at the time of Christ when the Holy Spirit fell upon Jews from all over the known world at Pentecost. As Catholics and Spiritual Israel, we also are gathered back to the New a Jerusalem at every Mass
