I used feather fill back in the 1980 and Variprime. Great job.

It was the 80's when I was using it as well. Not familiar with Variprime. I loved the fact that the lacquer primer was always in the gun and you could prime as you go. Products have really changed. Thanks for tuning in. Stevo

There is a great paint that has been around for a while if it is the same as the original version. @@markjordan1765

If you want to save yourself some time and money get you some SU 521 from Sherwin Williams it's a dtm primer that builds super nice and can be used as a sealer and you can spray it with a 1.3-1.5 tip

Will make a point of that. We do have a dealer in town. Thanks. Stevo

When I look at this bed, or any box bed for that matter, and see all the ribs, all I can think of is "how do I sand that?" LOL You made yourself a nice little jig for sanding the ribs and I bet it helps on these jobs. Take care!@@stevoj8959

I would never have the patience to do your kind of work.

This box pushed the limits of patience. It takes at least 5 times longer to do than a Chevy because you can't take it apart. I got er though. Thanks Vern. Stevo
