Felicia, your pronounce is very good! Polish language is extremely difficult, but when you can pronounce words correctly is far more important than your grammar. Mispronunciation makes you far less understandable than bad grammar. You go girl! POWODZENIA :)

So great to see you guys are back in Poland! I'm an American living in Poland. Unfortunately, I'm in Northwestern Poland... and you guys are visiting southern Poland this time
@iLolek107 жыл бұрын
It must sounds strange for Canadian to hear - "I'm American". just like Canadians ARE NOT. For me it would sound very strange if any German or French would tell me "Hi I'm European. BTW The Foreign Citizen. Could You explain me which sea is shining and which one is just a sea? kzbin.info/www/bejne/qYKWm3-lg7iLp80 Just if you know that of course... Have a nice weekend .
@TheForeignCitizen7 жыл бұрын
iLolek , I'm a United States of American... No, my nationality is American. There's no other way to say it. Sorry this is too confusing for you.
@iLolek107 жыл бұрын
What about when you sing "God bless America..." ? Do you including Canada, Mexico, Brazil or Wenezuela as well? Or you sing just about "Emełyka". For you to know. Amerigo Vespucci has never been on northern continent. All what he describbed, was about southern part. But first google who it was.
@slawomirr127 жыл бұрын
@ILolek - I think you are attacking the wrong person. It's not Tonny's invention to call his nation Americans (while it's actually multinational country). They just say it like that. How would you? During soviet times we were calling all citizens of USSR "Russians", no matter if they were Ukrainians, Balts or actual Russians. It's just simpler than saying: "citizens of Union of Soviet Socialist Republics" as well as it's simpler to say Americans than "citizens of United Stated of Northern America, but not Canadians and not Northern Mexicans".
@TheForeignCitizen7 жыл бұрын
+slawomirr12, :D I'm going to start saying that. "I'm a citizen of the United States of Northern America, but not Canada and not Mexico...just the middle part!" hahaha But really, is the same with people that live in the UK. You don't say "I'm a United Kingdomer" not, you just say "I'm British/English" or "I'm Welsh"... and so on. The country's name is "The United States of America"... and usually when someone says "America" (without anything before it) it is understood by MOST people around the world that they are referring to the country "The United States of America" and not the continent (North America)

Felicia your pronunciation is amazing you really nailed! Especially when you say "przepraszam" you got all the sybilants "rz" and "sz" spot on. I came across your channel when you've been visiting my home city Wrocław a year ago and I'm following you ever since. Your travels always cheer me up and you come across as such a great people. Next time you'll be visiting UK stop by in Birmingham, I'll show you around :)

I would like to thank you for this one remark about remembering... I think, this is something important and something we in Poland understand well. Day by day it feels we're under heavy critique for "dweling in the past". It suddenly felt so comforting to hear someone say a good word about something like this. It was just a short sentence, but this is how it felt to me and I almost shed a tear.

Hi guys .. glad to see you back in Poland .. I saw all your previous videos from your last trip to Poland as tourists and now I am looking forward to see more of your videos about my country. Arguably, you picked the worst possible time to be in Poland as tourists so be prepared to survive some cold, gloomy, rainy and short days during your current stay in Poland, but ... hey.. gotta take the good with the bad .. Btw .. your polish pronounciation is really surprisingly good considering the fact that you didnt dedicate too much time into learning our "crazy to pronounce" language .. Suggested to visit in southern Poland (from west to east ) is Wroclaw, Wieliczka, Krakow ( which you know already ) and Zakopane ..

Glad to see you guys back in Poland, it's when you were there last year that I discovered your channel and started to follow you! It's a shame that you seem to traveling in the beautiful Slavic countries of central Europe during crappy weather and early darkness time... I like Poland in springtime and early summer (April, May and June), and recommend it when the days (daylight hours) are getting longer rather shorter. Fel's Polish pronunciation is really very good, and people in all Slavic countries appreciate when foreigners attempt to say some words in the local language. They know that their languages are not easy for foreigners to learn.

You have to visit: - Jelenia Góra - you will be surprised how stunning the city is, - Grudziądz - it's the smallest city with trams. The narrow streets will remind you of the capital of Portugal, - Bydgoszcz - the so called Bydgoszcz Venice is sooooo romantic, -Tarnów - the most charming city in Małopolska (Little Poland).

If you'll happen to be in kraków, you should definitely check out Wieliczka salt mine. You can also visit underground museum located under main square and "Sukiennice", if you like that kind of stuff. There is also "Zakrzówek" - little lake in old quarry, not to far away from old town. You could go for swimm there in summer time. If you're into old planes, than Aviation Museum could be interesting, but it is closed on mondays.
