You make amazing cakes! When you add veggie oil to the melted chocolate did you use water base gel colors rather than oil? I don’t have oil base food coloring. From what I’ve read and other cakers say that I’ll need oil base to color my melted chocolates

Hi Rosie! Just wanted to ask why my white chocolate using beryls after I melt it I add some color and put it in wax paper but it's almost 1hr. It is still soft😢 just pure chocolate and I don't use any oil and no drift of water

Hi Ysh shy, thank you for your comment! It could be the temperature in the room, if you are in a tropical or warm climate, this could be the reason. However coveture chocolate that needs to be tempered will also give you this result. Try using compound chocolate, like Nestle for example :) this might help.

Hi Tiffany, sorry to hear this! It sounds like your chocolate needed tempering. I use compound chocolate (by Nestle) this can be melted in the microwave and becomes solid again in the fridge / at room temperature, no need for tempering.

It’s probably the chocolate you are using. Wilton melting chips work well. Try using less oil but if you are dying the chocolate with gel color, if you don’t use enough oil it will seize. Make smaller batches so you don’t waste the chocolate while you try it out.

I've had this problem in the past, you have to temper the chocolate, tempering is basically melting chocolate and bringing to the right temperature. If you want to do something easier just buy chocolate with vegetables fat instead of real coco. If you want more information search up 'how to temper chocolate' you will find some very helpful tips, speaking of tips I hope this helped you😊

Hi hun, thank you so much for your comment! I use Nestle compound chocolate. If you are using coverture chocolate then you will need to temper it first. This will help heaps. It could also be that you are adding too much oil to the mix. Try adding just a little at a time :) and stick with the compound chocolate for this one. I know for a fact though that Cadbury white chocolate does the same thing to me, even though it's compound. Maybe try a brand like Nestle if you can!
