I used to go to this market 1990s pigeons at that time used to cost 10/20 pounds a lot of fanciers got good pigeons from the market and made new friends .

13:54 -this one's a nice one -dat vind ik ("I find that too") -van een ras, rasduif ("from a breed, bred pigeon"...what he's implying is that it's from a good lineage) "ras" means breed, race, lineage, etc...if you put it in front of any animal name, you imply it was bred a certain way, to achieve a certain quality and to maintain the inherent characteristics of the species. "rashond" translates literally to "breed dog" for example, it implies it is a dog that has been bred by a certain standard so it maintained the characteristics of the species. It's basically the polar opposite of mixed race animals that combine lineages.

Definitely some nice pigeons there but as with everything you have to do your research. You can’t beat the prices. Some of the greats got their start at the market and it’s been around for over a hundred years so the pigeons can’t be that bad.
