@주 There's a part of the video that introduces her and tells her story too. Right now she's becoming a famous KZbinr based here in the Philippines but she goes to Korea every now and then. Her videos talk about both Korea and Philippines and it's not just standard, typical vlogs. Very good content.

Because half of her life is here, you cnt beat experience.. It really translates to authenticity.. Jessica doesn't need begging for subs, flowery words etc her experience alone is her foundation. Most of the foreign vloggers could never, Koreans have their advantage specially for those who grew up here..

Erwan and Jessica in one frame 🥰 I was already expecting this collab because Jessica used to recreate some of Featr's recipes on her channel and was such a big fan of food. It's difficult not to watch when Jessica talks. She breaks down relevant topics that are easy for us to chew on. Also, you guys have what I call a 'youtube' chemistry. More of Mouthfull, please 🙏🏽 PS. It sure is an excellent Korean experience when you have a Korean friend explaining the food culture.

I also watch Jessica Lee and it is fun seeing her here. I always like the way she describes or introduce foods in her channel and seeing her do it in Featr feels just right. The way she does it is like walking down memory lane like what she did here. The typical tito food. The food your grandma makes for you. The food you only get to eat at importan occassions etc.

it's nice that the FEATR team are going out again and slowly (and carefully) highlighting food from other countries where we can take a mental note and visit. only started following and watching FEATR mid-transition (from when Erwan announced he'll be changing the channel name to this) - that 7 year talk of getting 100k subs hits hard - glad this channel is growing.

Among the food culture of Korea, special things that distinguish it from the food culture of other countries. // 1. Perfect lacto-vegetarian food represented by Korean Buddhist temple food. And this diet began in AD 372. 2. An endless variety of soup dishes represented by ‘Sinseollo’, Korea's finest cuisine 3. Kimchi: Vegetables fermented with animal protein represented by cabbage kimchi. In the past, only Koreans made and ate it. There are over 800 types of kimchi. 4. Jeotgal: A fermented animal-based sauce made from seafood. In Korea, there are more than 140 different types of salted fish. 5. Ssam: It means wrapping all the ingredients you want to eat in various leafy vegetables represented by lettuce. However, unlike burritos, you have to swallow them in one bite, so you need to adjust the amount of ingredients to be wrapped appropriately. 6. Herbal Medicine Ingredients : Herbal medicine ingredients are not only eaten for special diseases or health, but are also often used for general home cooking. For example, as ingredients for Samgye-tang, Mulberry, Tree Aralia, Eleutherococcus Sessiliflorus, Mongolian Milkvetch, Korean Angelica, Ginger, Jujube and Korean Ginseng are used. 7. Namul : South Korea is the country that eats a lot of dishes made with only vegetables without meat and seafood protein. Namul are foods made with one edible plant as the main ingredient. Do not mix other vegetables. Examples of the types of Namul include Shepherd's Purse, Stringy Stonecrop, Korean Angelica-tree, Korean Wild Chive, Butterbur, Bracken, Doellingeria Scabra, Bamboo Shoot, Chamnamul and Cirsium Setidens. 8. Cold Noodles: Korea developed the world's first cold noodle dish, and it is the place where the whole nation began to enjoy eating. The reason is that the summer is hot and the water in valleys, rivers and wells is clean.. According to literature, the history of Naengmyeon goes back to the Goryeo Dynasty(918~1392). Besides Naengmyeon, Kong-guksu, Mak-guksu, Milmyeon, Kimchimari-guksu, Bibim-guksu, and Jjolmyeon exist in Korea. // Etc... Korea shows a distinctly different food culture from neighboring countries in Far East Asia (China, Mongolia, Vietnam, Japan).

I guess i can compare the perilla leaves debate as the "tagay glass debate" here. If drinking from someone's cup would normally be seen as indirect kiss and perhaps a bit inappropriate to do coz it's a little too intimate, how does a shared tagay glass that gets passed around any be different? The latter was often completely seen as normal, even when members of the opposite sex are all present, no malice or "arte" is involved. So while i am on the "it's appropriate" side on that perilla leaves debate, i can see how it does divide korean's opinions. A matter of when does things (in this case, intimacy) draw a line.

I never knew Jokbal had cinnamon flavors mind was blown. Now, I'm craving it more hehe. There were some things I did not know about Jessica that were cool to find out like the reason why the family ended up in the Bacolod Philippines. The parents are so thoughtful and wise about their decisions I thought to me. The marinated crab I always see in some K-drama shows. It's something that fascinated me but is not yet there when it comes to trying it myself. It is good to see you both eat it and talk about it. Thanks for this. Great chemistry between you two...! Look forward to some other interactions. Enjoyed the what's acceptable between male and female and what's considered inappropriate... 😎

been waiting for this collab! I am a fan of both channel 💗 i love the concept of this new talk format 'Mouth Full' good conversation + good food = makes it more interesting to watch (the downside is, it makes me hungry 😂) would like to see more local artists / people known in the different field to be one of the guest

BTW, Erwan, for a similar "gelatinous" texture skin dish in the Philippines, try the Visayan balbakwa (very different from its namesake - balbacua). It's beef skin though.

I love this show! Two of my fave content creators + Korean food + good conversation = perfection. It’s like Erwan got a Korean younger sister in Jessica but Jessica sees him like a Tito. HAHA! 😂👍❤️ PS: The food names are exchanged (16:38 and 16:49). PPS: Yes, you can help your SO’s friend to get a piece of perilla leaf! 🙄😂
