I was just on the Love Notions channel and saw you over there, and I wanted to come over here and say great job! It's funny... as I think I know a lot of information about sewing, I watch a video and realize how much I do not know! It was very informative, and I'm trying not to be overwhelmed with so many different ways to adjust a pattern to fit you well.❤

Funny coincidence, I just finished making a rhapsody blouse with bell sleeves about an hour ago. 😊

How did you find the pattern???

I enjoyed it mostly. The v neckline is the part that gets me. This is my second rhapsody and I don’t think that’s improved. It could be the fabric though. I don’t know what type of fabric it is but it was jumping all over the place! My neckline stitching is not straight at all and my v looks weird. 😬

@@zuleikalambe9861 ooo you can probably try starching your shifty fabrics before working with them just to help stabilize them a little.

I should have thought of that! I used a ton of starch for the binding because it was so tough to get it to crease. Thanks for the tip. 😊

Love your blouse! The color is fantastic on you! I have to make similar adjustments to my patterns ( I consider them custom fit adjustments…as everyone is unique!). ❤

thanks so much. This color is on my color chart so I'm happy to hear you say that. They are definitely custom adjustments. All our bodies are different indeed.

Your Rhapsody is beautiful! Can you recommend a fabric that would be drapey but beginner friendly?

@@BarbFry​​⁠maybe a lightweight linen would be beautiful or a cotton poplin (which isn’t as drapey). You can use some spray starch to help stabilize your fabrics. It works a treat to make them a little easier to handle!
