True! But it really depends! I already know some friends that dropped the game because of the first few bits of the story :( I mean, I am still excited for 1.1 and how that will go, but with so many games coming out now, there's so little time to play them all so people drop things faster? Also for Genshin, it dropped during peak pandemic year so everyone kinda latched onto it.

Gacha games by nature are half story and half gameplay. If you skip out on the story, you're skipping on half the game. You can say "The story's too boring" or whatever but you know damn well you would've skipped it anyways. Stop tryna save face 😆

I think it really depends, I know friends that don't play gacha games for the story xD I personally love story in all games so I'll read all of it, but some people get their story on actually finished one purchase games and for gacha, they want the combat/gameplay aspect. So for me, at the end of the day, enjoy the game however you want! Whether that's reading everything, or skipping everything LOL. The issue lies on when you force your thoughts and ways on other people and that's where we get all the conflict haha

If people dropped this game for story and not for gameplay those people are casual af. KURO Games is the FromSoft of gacha. If you've played PGR you would know their main strength is combat and gameplay.

I can't deny that combat is the strong point of this game and I love it, but you won't get a very big reach if you don't hook in the casuals with interesting characters/plot/world building. I want Kuro to find their balance so that more people get hooked and want to support them and then with all that resources, Kuro can create better things too :D
