I understand your disappointment. Thank you for your informative video. On another note, what I've been experiencing is related to the collector's reserve. When you click on a locked collector's reserve, it states that the collector's reserve contains mystery cards or currency. And yet, there have been multiple times when I have unlocked a collector's reserve and received a new title instead of a mystery card or currency. I'm new to Marvel Snap. As such, is a new title considered a card? It stands to the reason that it is not considered currency. Whenever I unlock a mystery card, it is titled as a base card. Semantics?🤷🏾

Yeah it’s unfortunately not a helpful description in game. It can be a series 3 card you don’t have, a variant of a card, a avatar or title cosmetic that you don’t have, 100 collectors tokens, gold, credits, or a gold conquest ticket. So a lot more than just a card or currency.

That's how the randomized ordering works; The "worst case" scenario for cards would be if they were both at the front and back end of both groups, meaning you can go a maximum of 14 Reserves without a new card. Group 1: Group 2: | (Card) (Card) (7 Non-Card Rewards) | (7 Non-Card Rewards) (Card) (Card)|

Those caches only have cards up to series 3. Assuming you have all series 3 cards, you will get absolutely nothing in terms of new cards from those

I think it works like a gacha banner, your “shots” move on to the next banner. Anyway, to me it's crazy how much it cost to get the featured variant, how there is no progress tracker, how this information isn't in the game and how progress doesn't reset if you get all 3 featured variants before shot number 12.

1st time viewer here but already subscribed. Thank you so much for doing this! I've often wondered exactly how that worked and how legit it is. The 1st Pandart album got my wallet in a similar manner, I'm gonna let this 2nd one happen over time (9 of 12 so far) but like you I also really dig that Allioth. I'd like to make everyone aware of a different issue I found which included getting costumer service involved. Always claim the bonus premium mystery variant and 2000 tokens right after completing the 10 out of 10 progress bar. If you buy any variants while that progress bar is full (meaning you hadn't claimed yet) you WILL NOT get credit for any variant purchases towards the next bonus. Customer service didn't do anything even though they saw I'd made 2 additional purchases before claiming the prior bonus. They just said sorry but wouldn't do anything about it. I know this is a rare instance but still wanted to make everyone aware. I was heated for a while, even decided to stop playing Snap all together.......😳🤡 umm yeah that didn't last lmfao!!

The kicker was that Alioth card was advertised as the 6th reward in that album then changed and SD hasn’t said a word to the player base about this.

I support this game I do and I left a review on the App Store. Few nitpicks since we are on the topic of how much this game makes ($$$). 1. The music is trash. They should update it with some Marvel themes to make it epic. Or listen to your own. 2. Will it kill them to give us a variety of backgrounds during matches? 3. With the amount of variation of each card…they should really let you choose your own boosters not based on your deck. For example: I love the Wolverine cards but the only way to get boosters is to play him in my deck? And by chance??? I’ve only been on Marvel Snap for about 5 months. I only get the season pass after I pass lvl 50. So far the season pass is the only thing I aim to buy; for $10 is not bad. As far as gold you’re better off getting a 700/1200 card u want rather than a 800 random IMO Honestly if they you choose your boosters this game would be 100X’s better!!

I mean, technically in the grand scheme of buying varients in the shop, it is still saving you. You get six varients at 400 less than they usually are in the shop with only seven being 100 more gold than they usually are. Plus you get the random variant with the collectors tokens in the process. It’s a lot of money and you’re better off just playing the game and getting the free varients as they come and selecting the ones that you want buy so that you’re not left with ones you don’t want, but it would be more of a scam if they only offered one or two super rares and the rest were rares. Regardless thank you for clarifying a point that the developers should have made clear with the rotation of the featured rares. The way they do it is very helpful for those who cant buy the featured varients all at once, but very misleading to those who can.

I personally dont equip any variants to avoid caring about them , but bro just be patient they would of come up in your shop over time , eventually might of even had a shop take over. The variant reward would always be there no reason to rush. Might of been able to snag more than half of those for shop price in just a week or two of waiting lol

Also I'd love more info regarding the Star Wars card game you spoke of at the end of the video. Lifelong fan and was even lucky enough to work on the MMO pc game Star Wars the Old Republic (LucasArts/BioWare/Electronic Arts). About 4 years of my life including nearly 400k lines of voice-over dialog review/testing later.... It had a disappointing release but came together nicely over the years. I'm an audio engineer and at the time of release SWtOR was the largest entertainment project ever in terms of audio! Pretty cool stuff but must say it did start making me go stir crazy listening to so freakin many Jedi lines of dialog. 😂 🤣

The card game is Star Wars Unlimited. It is a physical TCG that launched in March this year and just released its second set. The game is amazing! Lots of local shops and players playing the game. :)

The featured ones you get should be from the album it advertises, but it isn't considered a different package from the other featured mystery variants that are for sale on different weeks. Which is why I was able to open 12+ mystery variants and only get 3 featured(shown near the end of the video). It's silly I think.

Yeah did you see near the end of the video? Your unlocks are tied to features premium mystery variants in general and not to the name of that particular one. So if you got two from the last one, you’ll only get 1 from the next 9 you buy. It sucks.

So ever since i saw the pandart studio variants were going to come out i slowly started to purchase almost every single one of them....and then i saw the pandart studio alioth and i said i must have it..i saw it was locked behind the album in datamine so when i saw the peach momoko album had thanos locked at the 12 unlock i knew that they would do it for alioth because they also have the dan hipp werewolf by night locked at the 12. So before the pandart studio album 2 came out i had already 11/12 only one i was missing was the cyclops which i did get and im so lucky to have the pandart studio alioth variant which this past week i finally did get ink for alioth its one of my favorite variants

Maybe I mathed it wrong but for this particular mystery variant featuring Pandora’s Box 2 is it actually worth it? Cause 9/12 cards in the album are super rare (valued at 1200 gold) with the other 3 being rare (valued at 700 gold) for a total value of 10,800 + 2100 = 12,900 gold album value. If you bought a cycle of 12 cards via the mystery it would cost you 9600 gold (800 x 12) netting you: 6 rares (700 ea) = 4200 gold value 3 super rares (1200ea) = 3600 gold value 3 featured variant with a 37% chance of getting a 1200 gold value variant in the album which would be a range between 2100 value (all 3 rares in album) to 3600 value (all 3 super rares in the album) For a total value of 8900 (bad luck getting only the 3 rares as your FVs) Or 10,400 (best luck pulling all super rares for your FVs)
