I failed L3 twice and decided to use MM's materials which helped me to finally clear L3. While going through his materials, I realized that my main mistake was in the way I answered the morning paper (essay questions). While I knew that it was structured response (bullet points), there is a very specific way to write those bullet points which ties the question to the answer through multiple stages / levels. I also realized that I had to respond to unselected options and not just the selected ones - show me why A is correct and why B and C are wrong.

I passed lvl 3 on my second try, thank Mark.. The material definitely helped me a lot if I got stuck in some section, I could replay the video as many times as needed

From a re-taker perspective, do you recommend taking a mock 2 months before the exam to pinpoint weak spots? I decided to register for the Aug 23 attempt since the material is fresh in my head, but would appreciate your opinion on how early to begin the mock exam/review process and also, how many mock exams would be ideal for L3 candidates?

Hey Mark, this was my second attempt at level 3 and the first one with you my result was at the MPS and i failed because of Ethics as my Ethics was below 50%. I got more than 70% in Equity, Fixed Income , Alternative Investment , Asset allocation and Performance Evaluation. At 50% in Economics and Derivatives. For behavioural and private wealth was between 50% and 70% please advice on what to do

I’m assuming some people at level 3 are in higher up positions where they are working 50-60 hour weeks, level 3 needs time

Can someone tell me please how many answers should be correct out of 88 to pass level 3 exam? Around 55? Which makes it between 60-65% correct answers

Hi Dr. Meldrum! I’m a subscriber of your content. I have multiple DNPs in level 3. In my first attempt, I was not far from the MPS but in the second attempt , I am in the bottom 10 percentile. Should I even consider Aug 2023 exam?
