Thank you for your coverage of my Chinese layout, BEIJIAO. It's unfortunate that the level crossing was playing up when you videoed it, but by late afternoon on Sunday it was working perfectly - honest! 😀

Pleased that you liked the coverage. Your layout was very different to the usual layouts that I see at exhibitions and there was plenty of action to video, even if the crossing gates didn't work properly! Curse of the live movie maker!

Always good to see the detail on these layouts.

while it wouldnt be my cup `o tea..the china one was so full of detail it must have taken many hours to achieve.. the level of work on many layouts continues to amaze me, and many the way you video them could easily be taken for live rail videos..

It wasn't my first choice either, but it was very different to the more usual layouts and there was plenty of action, even if the crossing gates didn't work properly! And thanks for the complements on my videos; I try to make them interesting but I can't always get the shots that I would like!

LEVEL OF DETAIL. Maybe you're unaware even "ready made" buildings are now available "out of the packet" lots of them !!!
@KeithTucker458 ай бұрын
@@railwaymechanicalengineer4587 The 'ready made' buildings still have to be integrated into the scenery and other details added to make the layout look more realistic.

That first layout conveyed all the ugliness of 21st century Britain with hyper realism. The only thing missing was the litter!

Maybe I'll mention about the litter the next time I see that layout!
