This card is incredible! The last time I was this excited was last Christmas with the Wilder-Parker and AJ-Wallen card. Ironically, the main fights weren’t great, but the rest of the card delivered. That’s why stacking a card makes such a difference-great fights throughout mean that even if the main event falls short, you’ve still had an amazing night. I’m not sure if I’m more excited for this one as that one felt crazy at the time, but it definitely feels special!

Beterbiev-Bivol has to be the main event. And while I agree this could be the best fight card ever, I do have a slight concern about what happens in the months afterward. The big cards have been great this year, but there have been long periods between them, with [excluding Queensbury] less activity elsewhere. Can boxing really grow on the foundation of, say, 4 major cards per year? Maybe I'm just overthinking it!

That’s not how it works in a pursebid. The Saudi’s just have to win the bid not guarantee any purses to any fighter. Bakole is going ahead in the same type of eliminator for less money. He shows he wants that mandatory position that will be forced. Remember how long Dillian Whyte was mandatory. The IBF mandatory is the smartest one to have because it will be enforced.

Imo he didn’t beat zhang, zhang had two KD in two rounds and won enough rounds to get a draw or a one round win, but it’s not a robbery in any stretch to give it to Parker, I just don’t think he’s all that and has been fed guys who he’s stylistically favored against or ancient. I think he’ll get laid out in 6 rounds vs Dubois and definitely against bakole. Not enough work rate, doesn’t punch hard enough and doesn’t have enough skills for a small man to beat guys who almost have the same amount being bigger.
