Yes! 😆 Stay the course! That's the goal. We haven't been neglecting school work but I've definitely been slacking with our cleaning schedule. It's been super nice outside and this is definitely the time of year where I just want to drop everything and play outside. There's nothing wrong with that philosophy, I just prefer that we don't skip math and LA. Yes, showing what your girls read has been helpful for my daughter and I let her watch with me.

I feel all of this! We’ve been taking short breaks like 20 minutes, multiple times a day, to go outside. Hang in there!! 🙌🏽 Oh yay! I’m glad they’ve been helpful! ❤️

for your cat issue. use cyanne pepper. sprinkle it all over the top of your soil and they will sniff it and leave the garden alone. you do have to reapply every week or more often if it is very rainy.

We definitely didn’t do it consistently. That’s now the goal so we can restart next spring. Thx!

we had a problem with neighbor cats too. we used cayenne pepper. it worked but i had to reapply about once a month. they eventually stopped trying because they didnt like the cayenne.

I tried that but definitely didn’t stay with it. We may try that again and just keep doing it for a while. Hopefully they’ll go away for good. Thanks!

That’s nuts about the cats! My friend is a vet and caught stray cats in her neighborhood and had them spayed/neutered. Haha

I appreciate your honesty and encouragement. I got the chance to see you in the M2H call and it was refreshing to see how unedited your videos are to your true self. I hope that makes sense. Video suggestions for you - spelling - what's worked, what hasn't worked. More on speech! My daughter struggles with L, Sh, R, and T. I need suggestions!

Also, I'm curious what you will decide for math. My son is only going into 3rd, but hasn't really struggled with math and we use Horizons as well.
