I am also a seed gardener. A great money saver plus seeing growth from the start is thrilling for me. Another plus is that we can have much more interesting varieties than available from more common plants grown in nurseries. How long do you leave your grow lights on? Great tour, thanks!

I totally agree. My lights are on for about 18 hours. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Your setup is great and I enjoyed your video. Just wondering when you started your snapdragons? Mine have germinated but have not put on much growth. Thank you!

I started the snapdragons about the 2nd week in February. Thanks for watching

If you prefer to not adjust your shelves (they are adjustable - just not fun to do it), you might consider fluorescent bulbs instead of LED in the future for some of your shelves, as they are simply not as strong (you probably know the rule of thumb for fluorescent is very close, while LED is different). I start my perennial/biennial seeds in July, sometimes August, outdoors. No need for heat mat most of the time, and plenty of daylight, and room to grow. Then transplant them to their permanent home in late summer /or even after a good start with true leaves. Can't beat true sunlight. Foxgloves, poppies, fescue. Also got great germination with the merlot lettuce (free packet but not from baker creek), but I wasn't a fan of the taste. Donated the rest to a seed library. Thanks for the updates and tour. I only have partial success with cuttings, but forgot the humidity aspect until your video, so my latest cuttings are doing good.
