I've read Georgiana; let's just say that gambling was her Achilles' heel. The House of the Trelawney's was a terrific read. Loved it! Lauren Willig has a series that starts with The Pink Carnation. The series is romance with humor, set during the French Revolution. I've read them all and grieved the final tome. I hate it when favorite series end. Five stars for Willig. I'm reading and enjoying The River We Remember by William Kent Krueger (ordered from BOM Club.) I'm also reading The Blue Castle by L.M. Montgomery. I'm the last person in the world to read anything by Montgomery. The first half was depressing beyond ...., but now that she's grown a backbone, I'm loving it. Halfway through Winter Garden by Kristen Hannah. For personal reasons, it's a difficult read for me. I've also started a re-read of Alan Bradley's Flavia de Luce series; J.F. Cooper's The Pathfinder; E.F. Benson's Queen Lucia and Miss Mapp; and Stiff by Mary Roach for nonfiction. Happy literature to you!

Those Flavia mysteries are so fun! I need to try a William Kent Krueger. Would you recommend this one you’re currently reading?

@@Bookslovejenna Certainly would. It's a post-World War II murder mystery with terrific characterization.

Welcome! Thanks so much for subscribing. I have a very strong suspicion that A&H may become a new obsession for me. 😂 Please do let me know if your thoughts on the letters!

Hmm, I have never considered reading romance in February! I am not a huge romance reader, mostly during the holiday season. LOL I might have to start thinking about reading more romance in February. What do you think about romance books? I am curious! Great TBR and I hope you enjoy all of your reads for February.

Thanks! I tend to really enjoy romance with some aspect of humor. I prefer to read romances with really well developed characters that communicate with each other. I really can’t stand it when the entire story hinges on one character simply not having a simple conversation with the person they claim to love. I’m not too picky otherwise. I used to think I didn’t read much romance but then I realized all my favorite books are actually romances…just because they’re classics doesn’t mean they aren’t romances. 😂🤦🏻♀️
