Omg I read Scythe in 2017 and LOVED IT and was so sad nobody else seemed to have read it, and then when Thunderhead came out there’s been this amazing resurgence in people talking about this series! I’m glad you enjoyed it and are liking the sequel as well!

So glad to hear you are finally talking about Scythe. I decided to read it based off your desire to read it, and I devoured it and the sequel so fast. It’s easily the best dystopian series I’ve read in ages, and it’s now one of my favorite series of all time. Glad you liked it as much as I did!!!

Finished off the second king killer book and started on mistborn. The king killer books were incredible, but I'm totally bummed the conclusion of the trilogy is no where to be found. So far, Mistborn is fantastic.

Hm. I actually DNF'd Scythe. It just wasn't for me (honestly it was triggering some anxiety for me). But I love seeing how excited you are for it! I can't wait to finish up the Falling Kingdoms series! I still have to read the 5th one too! And Ever the Brave is on my shortlist too.

I want to know how you read so much! I get so busy during the week and even when I get home after a day of classes I don’t feel like reading and then I have work most weekends. My day off is Friday which usually I catch up on KZbin which I am doing now. So I have like no time for reading and when I do I never feel like it. I would love to read four books in a month I haven’t finished a single book yet this year... but to be fair I am graduating from college this semester so I’ve been really busy. I’m thinking I need to get more into audio books which I usually listen to on car rides, but not in day to day basis. But they’re so expensive or 1 credit a month. So idk how to find more time for reading.

I am so glad that people are FINALLY reading Scythe! I feel like it deserved so much more hype than it got when it came out. It was one of my favorites last year and Thunderhead raised the stakes so high I don’t know what the finale is going to bring! Neal Shusterman has an amazing ability to construct these stories that seem far-fetched but really aren’t out of the realm of possibility.

I know there's nothing grammatically wrong with the word 'addicting', but it sounds wrong to me when the word 'addictive' means the same thing. Is it a U.S. thing to say addicting? Maybe I'm just being very old fashioned and English.
