This place is just gorgeous. I so wish I could invite Nazeem over for a couple ales before shipping him home to Nocturnal."You call that a 'Cloud District' you pauper." Truly I think what I love the most about her homes are the textures, the copper pipes are teal, the planters are painted but badly chipped to show the wood grain, just spot on. Nothing matches but everything goes together...just like life itself. It truly is a thing of beauty.

I have very few mods by choice (except a few foliage and weather mods, and one very nice Orc stronghold home mod you were kind enough to link me to, it really was exactly the thing I needed for my Orc character to really feel right at home and I appreciate it) but this one... Beautiful day in Skyrim, you say? Pelting down here in NZ. Cold, too. Now, back to watching this. The flyby already has my attention. Well, then. Back after watching and then family stuff. That outside... I'd take it just for that. The boat/chair lift is a touch of genius. Water wheel, too. Have to wonder about how loud it is while inside, but if not too loud, would make for a very soothing sleep each night. Plus adding to the atmosphere in the library. As for the 'surgery' room... Uh, no, thanks. Nice and simple. Ordinary. No secrets here. Modder certainly has an eye for detail. Like those ruins, too. A stairway outside would make for a good lunch spot with your SO. P.S.: The things we do for beauty... I got 👰. (And she still is.)

Its baroque style meets Tudor in post-Viking Apocalyptic Dragonborn society with a sprinkle of 19th century scientific touches here and there! Damn if its not just fab skyrim revolutionary level... and by the way the reason the cow goes up to stairs is because it uses the outside WC and leaves a her bucket of milk beside it, its in her contract... really, Feb its the heights the civility of the well breed Bovine classes. :) (This one (home) is extra special good find, Feb and a great vid too)

i love this mod my real problems with it is that i wish that the last 3 extras did something like improved alchemy and the bookshelf was actually a container for books and that you could build and use the flying machine besides that im good

well its brandnew, its 1.1 gigs big, a little taxing on the system and ofc requires SKSE, so yeah no consolero time. get a pc and take a deep dive into the nexus. ;)

@@itsclemtime2357 first its a mac...not very gamefriendly, but either a windows emulator/wrapper or a dual boot system with windows and mac os, could help with that and after that...well there are tutorials from Gopher or Dirty Weasel Media and others how to start basic modding and then with SKSE. For SE using Vortex is easier than Mod Organizer, the old Nexus Mod Manager is outdated and even with inofficial github updates lacks alot of functionality and performance. just start small, get yourself some infos and avoid Bugthesda net, mods from there tend to mess with the pc version and other mods and most mods from there are also available on, if not coming from PC. easiest to start with are smaller texture or simple house or armor mods, then come the bigger ones, that are overhauls, big housemods like this one here or armor mods that also require bodymods and bodyslide and that also gets you close and into SKSE and up to questmods that are DLC sized or so...^^

Tbh I had no problems at all with the quests and I really enjoyed them - they were quite easy to follow really and took up a decent bit of time, you know, like I felt like I earned that house!:) I'm pretty sure that Maple Manor has a version that you don't need to have the Dragonborn Legacy installed yep - just checked - in the Miscellaneous Files section of the mod page you'll find the standalone version:)

I was just remodding Skyrim S.E. to add some of the house mods you turned me on to and also some of Mihail's creatures, okay a lot of Mihail's creatures, and reviewing my mod list it occured to me to ask have you ever done the Dwemer Hypersphere from Project AHO? It's at least as good as the house from Carved Brink and I'm pretty sure there's a stand alone version if you don't want to do the whole mod to get it.

I did that one sooo long ago! I loved playing through Project AHO (more than Carved Brink tbh - though I did like the armour from Carved Brink!) and the Hypersphere is so so cool:) It's prolly in my Mods that also give you a House playlist:)

Well, that cembalo is a bit off to tell the truth. 🤔 But okay, early Renaissance, I let it count. We need to talk about the picture looking like it's "Ned Stark" - that's Emhyr var Emreis from the Witcher 3 and he is voiced by none other than Charles Dance. And actually his character is much closer to Tywin than to Ned. Much, much closer. 😉 Let's clean dishes! 🤣🤣 Jesus, these details. You are right, that fireplace looks like one of the angel faces has an eye that you can push in and voila a secret room. Looks like the laboratory of Leonardo da Vinci (he had to cut open people to study the human body) and yes, it's grim but also "Groovy!", I love that safe and these apothecary ingredients drawers. - and later that's been confirmed on the, um, Dachboden. Ohhh, I just noticed that's another mod from the same German author who did this one bigger home, forgot the name, because I read "Dachboden" - I didn't notice that the mod title says "Laboratorium" and not laboratory. That's what happens if you are thinking in two languages. I also love these decorations, it gives a home character, it tells a story, it's RPG in essence. Lool. You are panning over the workshop and I say "Wow" and just second later your are echoing this. 🤣 Love that sleeping nook like it's been build for a servant. "Merlin? Merlin!? Were is the wretched boy?" That lift-contraption is nifty and that library is fantastic. Oh, my God. I could actually comment on every single step and type a whole article about it. But where would that lead? This house has a shitton of detail. Actually it needs a real conversation about some these homes, especially the highly detailed ones.

Yeh no spoilers because the quest will lead you there but if you absolutely HAVE to know it's south of Fort Amol and west of the Atronach Stone - I think you'll be ok and it won't clash with anything major!:)

Oh also miss Febrith I know you wanted to check out high king of riverhelm in sse. I heard it is bugged at the moment,but I downloaded it anyway and will let ya know how it runs :) Ans: it works fine when I installed it with Vortex. Only load order mattered. I have place high king at the bottom and riverhelm at the top.

Nice review, but tbh, so many of these places are a ridiculous misuse of space inside and out. This place was large outside, but cramped inside. There was no simple load free passage between bedrooms and the rest of the house, the crafting was not clearly marked, and was also very cramped, and decorations seemed to be a priority at the expense of functionality. Outside, they could have made an effort to create a better, clearer wider path to the house, made the front deck and steps much wider and simpler, and leveled the surrounding land some. This place is pure style over substance. Houses should be easy to approach and leave even with half a dozen followers, navigated easily even with the same, have easy internal access to all section nb s without load doors, ladders or any such other contrivance, and have room enough for all children followers and any staff, to pass by each other freely. It actually irks me to see such mod talent putting such effort on a house so dysfunctional in every way. I've only just found this channel, and I'm a fan already, reviews are good, and bloody he'll, I love your voice, so no criticism of you, just this atrociously planned out house. (I see you reviewed Silan Manor just out of Solitude, THAT is the perfect functional home, that modder has a few others too, one just out of Windhelm for example, and he is a master, they're PERFECT, easy access, no navigation issues even with a dozen companions, rooms all easily accessed without load screens, and beds for dozens of children and followers).
