Private economy flat. Government hiring and spending/ borrowing up . Lower Interest rates help Government pay interest on ever increasing debt . Net result --- inflation. Prices can come down, but the consumer will need to pull back on spending to drive the demand down. The problem now is that people feel entitled, has FOMO or YOLO (or both), and they think that they MUST have whatever it is that they want very badly. Until then, if the demand stays up, then there's very little pressure to drive prices down.
