Is there a particular reason Federals videos are always only 25fps? I get the whole movie "cinematic" thing, but it really doesn't do BMXing justice.

It's Rich Forne's way of doing things man, I like it, it sets it apart from the 60fps stuff thats thrown around nowadays, Regardless of the frame rate all of Rich's video's are next level, He's at the top of the game

Dillon Haran I'm not a huge fan of his style, but I can still appreciate his skill and effort. But I'd like to know why exactly do you think 25fps is objectively better than 30, or even 60? I can understand it in movies, but at the end of the day, BMX edits are just sports videos, and fast moving things look objectively better in 60

25fps is the broadcast standard in the UK, you're thinking of 24fps for that cinematic look. 30fps is the US broadcast standard, it's not objectively better than 25fps, that's to do with the power standards in each country. US is 60Hz, so for every cycle, one on, one off, that's 30 frames in one second, the UK has 50Hz so 25fps is the television standard. Mr Forne, and Federal, are both from the UK so 25fps is the go-to frame rate for the guy. Also, it's just a taste thing, but I can't stand 50/60fps footage, I find it jarring personally, looks like a video game, but each to their own!
