How do you make these?

I use reference images. Having a sense of scale and proportion is a very useful skill to have as well. Usually I'll start with the motor, and use the motor to scale everything else around it so the proportions look right. Then, I use hover motors to spin the choppers, and velocity speakers to make the noise.
